Database innacuracies?

Hi

I bought a building that had FTTC broadband. When the previous owner moved out, he cancelled his phone and broadband, and when I moved in I ordered phone and broadband.

At first the checker said I could order FTTC, which I did. That installation failed because I was connected to a green box that hadn't been connected to FTTC, and there are 2 green boxes servicing my postcode.

So my questions are.

1) Can the database be inaccurate, and corrected?
2) Can I instead persuade someone to connect me to the other green box, that is FTTC activated, like the owner before me was.

1. Yes any database can have errors. Corrected, depends on if there is an error.
2. More chance of winning £100,000 from buying a £2 lottery ticket.

What does the BT Wholesale checker say when you check your full address? i.e. house number, road AND postcode.
