Hi, I'm interested in Plusnet Business fibre & phone mainly for the ability to apply for a block of static IPs.
I'm wondering what does the higher priced Business package offer over Residential? Are the network speeds/contention/priority the same on both packages?
Is the only difference the 'All inclusive features' (Unlimited email, 2 free .co.uk domains and 500Mb web space)? For me these features don't really add any value.
Business has higher priority (everything is top as far as I can recall). You get business support during office hours but outside these hours by residential.
My advice, after working on both the business and res teams in the past - call the business sales (or support line, they will happily chat with you) and after you have spoken to them I am sure you will know the value of the service.
Res are great don't get me wrong but the business support team are on another level. No call stats as they have strict targets and a real passion for what they do.
