FTTC migrations

[link to this post]

To those of you who have migrated their FTTC connection to PlusNet, how long did it take? I signed up on the 1st July and apart from the three acknowledgement emails the same day, there has been nothing further. The Member centre just says 'Processing Your Order'. Should I give them a few more days before bugging them smile.

You should have had a date within a couple of days. Bug them. I forget, is it line and broadband, or just broadband? If both, who is the line with?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 58.7/14.6Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

It is line and broadband, the line is with BT. I'll give them a call to find out what the hold up is.

No, phone them. Something went wrong with mine on the online systems that the guy on the sales desk was able to fix and kick into life quickly. Sounds as if FTTC migrations are a bit new still smile

James - plusnet unlimited fibre - 2 Jun 14 - 470m - Sync 55/9.4 (BT was 51/9.8)
15 years broadband (1999 ntl:cable trial) - Asus RT-AC68U with HG612 - PN BQM - PN speed - old BT speed

I think I was the first, in February 2012. They were completely floored when I rang about it, but recovered their breath and talked sense.

Unlike BT Retail who politely told me several times I could not already be on Openreach FTTC. That reduced my shortlist from two to one, for which I am very glad.

Are there initial payments to be taken? Not giving them a card number and therefore waiting for DD to be set up can delay things.

Their initial payment has been taken by card, so they have the money. The DD is setup and ready. They also have the MAC so really there should be no hold up. I'll give them a call in the morning. Would you suggest I call sales or support? I did open a ticket earlier to enquire about updates in a spare moment. I was intending to call them but ended up getting sidetracked.

Hi TheHorseman,

Sorry to hear you've not received confirmation of your FTTC order. Can you send me a private message with your username so that I can take a look into that for you?

Apologies for the delay.
