Thanks PlusNet

You've been grand in helping me dad sort his service out. It's brilliant that FTTC went live not only on his billing date but 2 months early and I am glad I was able to help with getting it to us. We ordered it today and 7 days install time is very good. And you've done him a decent price showing you do take care of long term loyal customers.

In return I delivered 400 leaflets around town today in the hope you will get some sign ups.

Nice one!

Based on my years of dealing with them to try and make them see it was viable and then based on the fact the NGA's were paid for by the community.

No, nothing for OR.

Indeed. I worked hard with the Council and business consortium to get the funding sorted. I went to London 6 times over a year to meet with people as I kept hitting the " not viable" barrier

Even the guy in charge of the rollout told me over e-mail it was not viable and it would not be happening.

Eat that buddy!

And well done to Plusnet. Very soon, Plusnet will have their own control on the DLM on their network system as BT Openreach will give the isp's a tool kit to do some change on the DLM rather than controlled by the exchange itself.

Dam right!

in 2000 I delivered 1800 leaflets in 3 feet of snow to get ADSL .. And I've spent a long while involved in this. So I am entitled to and I will no matter who thinks otherwise!

Not 1 person I haves approached about it has had a bad thing to say either
