What does PN use for user authentication? Does it connect using a BB Username & pwd set in router?

Yes and no.

Yes, but they use TR-069, so if you have a TR-069 enabled router it should work it out. The issued TG582n is so enabled.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.4/14.5Mbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

Thanks. User wanted to know if EE Brightbox would work on it. As it forces BB usernames to end in '@fs' the answer is 'No'.

How much does PN charge for their router?

My Plusnet router was free (except for £4.99 postage) when I signed up to 'fibre unlimited' a month ago.
