Is your cabinet fully occupied?

Sky might not have kit at your exchange. As for BT god knows unless it's as Bob says and your cab is full. Even then it shouldn't stop a migration?

A migration of FTTC when the cabinet is full is known to almost always cause loss of FTTC.

As soon as the user's connection is terminated in order to connect to the new ISP the next on the waiting list gets that connection. Leaving the original user bereft and at the bottom of the list.

Several posters on these forums have suffered this.

The OP needs to check his number on the BT Wholesale site and report back what it says.

Try here: https://www.dslchecker.bt.com/

Does the VDSL line (top two) come up as Available or Waiting List?

What do you mean by "bt site"? If you mean BT Retail, forget that. As nitro93 says, it's the VDSL lines in that link (the same as mine) that we need to know.

Can you copy and paste, it's like getting water out of a stone with you on this, no offence intended, we just want to help and to do that we need to see the detail. Please use your phone number not the post code checker. If that fails, address checker but would much prefer phone no.

Hmmm

VDSL Range A (Clean) 64.1 44.8 17.4 11.5 39.8 Available -- -- Yes --
VDSL Range B (Impacted) 54.6 35 15.2 7.9 29.8 Available -- -- Yes --

Just like that.

Anyway, as long as you're happy with your Plusnet deal nothing to worry about smile.

Re my figures there, compare with the actuals in my sig tongue. Not only that but currently upstream is on a steady 6.6dB and the max available downstream regularly showing over 76000. (G.INP active and DLM has set connection SNRM to 3dB).

So much for estimates!
