Post Office Router Help

[link to this post]

Hello. I have a ZyXel AMG1202 Router, provided by the post office. I am having trouble connecting the internet to the ps3. I am considering, ordering a belkin adsl router, would this work for me, straight wires swap, or do I need to enter anyother information into the new router?

Any help would be much appreciate,

Cheers,

OK so I have just done some more reading, seams like I have to enter some account information in the new router before it will work and I can replace the provide one by the post office, still not very clear on what information needs to be enetered into the new one yet, if someone can clear that up for me?

Hi Ian, thanks for the reply. I can already see that information in my current router, is that all the info I need to put into my new one?

Should be, all other settings are the same for most of the UK ADSL providers

VPI: 0
VCI: 38
EncapsulationMode: PPP over ATM (PPPoA - RFC2364) VC-MUX
Authentication: CHAP
MTU 1500
