Moving the Master Socket?

[link to this post]

Hello everyone,

As both my home phone and broadband are with the Post Office and thus now full LLU, could someone please tell me if BT or OpenReach would still help me if I wanted to get the BT master socket in my property moved?

Hi
Your best bet is to phone the PO and see if you can get any sense out of support.

I would guess that openreach still owns the copper up to the termination point.

Not a guess, it would be Openreach that does the socket move and it is down to the provider, Post Office to order it via the systems they have.
