New Customer Ordering PO Phone Only (WLR or LLU)

[link to this post]

Sorry to ask this again just need a firm answer.

I've ordered PO Phone Line (£13) a month with free installation

Is it still WLR or is it now LLU (TT)

I want to make sure that the PO landline number will show results in the BTw Checker and be able to run Xilo/Plusnet ADSL connections through it.

Thanks in advance!

Customers of the Post Office’s broadband and phone service have been hit by a variety of service problems, ranging from a total loss of telephone connectivity to an inability to contact support, since the ISP began the migration of their telecoms platform from BTWholesale to TalkTalk Wholesale at the start of September 2013.

But if you order just the phone service then the line will remain a WLR, TalkTalk Wholesale can do WLR OR full LLU.

If they were to do full LLU when you JUST ordered voice service, they are denying you the ability to have broadband and Ofcom will fall like a tonne of bricks.

Phew!

Thanks for clearing that up.

Two more questions, Will FTTC work the same with as an ADSL order. & As soon as I get my number will it be on the BTw database for me to check against ISP's like Pn or will I have to wait for the service to go live?

Second one is probably obvious but no harm in asking.

Comments about the migration and other issues are perfectly fine.

Those with Home Phone AND broadband from post office are most likely to be on full LLU, but the price advantage to ISPs is not as great as it used to be.
