Will I automatically be put on LLU?

[link to this post]

I recieved an email from TalkTalk saying that the up to 24mb package will be available to me sometime in the next three months as well as Samknows saying the RFS date is today(17/10). Will I have to contact them to be put on the service or will I be put on it anyway?

Also, i'm on the Fochabers exchange(NSFOC).

Thanks in advance laugh

Do you already have a service from TalkTalk?

If yes, then one would assume they will move you across at some point, whether its soon or 12 months is unknown

HI stephen,

The Process to migrate to LLU is usually automatic and you wil receve a letter advising you of this, alongside a short service outage on the day of transfer (as the line is moved from its current position to the TT LLU equipment).

If you have any queries on this feel free to join the TalkTalk Members Forum.

Mark,

You are saying migration to LLU is usually automatic! Can it be stopped if a customer wishes to stay on IP stream after they receive the letter informing them of the change or is the move to LLU obligatory if one wishes to continue using TalkTalk for broadband?

Hi Stephen,

Im looking to obtain an up to date exchange listing at present. The one we have predates
17th we would need to give more recent info to confirm accurate details on the exchange status.

42m, Yes the migration to LLU is automatic and no this cannot be stopped. If the cusotmer subscribed to Phone and BB services with TT then it consitutes part of the terms and conditions that if LLU becomes available the line will be migrated.
