[link to this post]

Cant seem to find out how to set up the wireless box II to allow Broadband Quality Monitor to work.

Just shows 100% packet loss.

The O2 wireless box II is a TG585 v.7 modem/router with their own 'branding' applied.

Below is a link to documentation for the TG 585 v.7 which may be of use???

Thanks , but I have no idea where to start with firewall settings , and I think O2 locks out a lot of functions.

You could start in the O2 forum here.

There are so many forums here , who knows where to look ?? Thought that since it was a firewall problem with thinkbroadband , I would ask here?

If not can a mod move to whatever correct forum you see fit

I don't really know how the monitor functions but I'm pretty sure that it would be UPnP aware. Are the necessary services running on your system and is UPnP enabled at the router?
Do you have a software firewall installed?

I think the monitor is just pinging the router every second. The OP needs to enable pings to his router's IP address.

UPnP is on, in wireless box II.
I run windows firewall , but I thought your pc doesn't even need to be switched on as it only checks connection to router ?

I've been out of the loop for a while and hadn't even looked at the monitor. Hopefully, the OP can now use it.
