Plusnet deleted my email addresses

On 20 Feb I decided to leave Plusnet for O2 and got my MAC which started my 30 days notice. Transferred successfully on 2 March.
On 3 March I get 2 emails from Plusnet. One says my username will be cancelled on 10 March and the other that my mailboxes have been deleted.
Between the two events I have been billed for another full month on 27 Feb. I managed to raise a ticket on that to get part refunded between 30 days and month to 27 March.
Today (4 March) I find that I cannot receive emails via Plusnet during a period for which I have paid.
I try emailing Support to ask about this and they say they don't answer emails and I should raise a ticket. I can't do that because they have removed the login to my paid account which should still be open.
That is very poor support!

Contact PlusNet CS and ask them to convert your old Broadband Account to a Dial-up PayG account and to restore your Mailboxes.

You could have requested this when you requested your MAC. I believe that they can still restore it for you if you ask (nicely).

To keep the mail accounts live, you must retrieve your mail regularly .... monthly I think but may be longer.

Thank you for your reply. I will try CS by phone later.
I've been with Plusnet since 2004. I gave them the required 30 days notice but they cut me off with no warning at all. The CS rep when I asked for the MAC gave no indication that anything would happen to the account for 30 days.

I phoned Plusnet this morning and they have restored my account as a dial-up a/c and given me back the same email address and login name. So It's all worked out OK.

Glad that it worked out OK for you. Remember to retrieve your mail at regular intervals to keep the account alive.
