Experiences with SKY?

[link to this post]

Hi

I'm considering signing up for a TV/phone/broadband package with SKY - I've done a search on here and not found much opinion on them as a provider. Anyone got experience with them? Is the service any good?

I currently have a phone/broadband package with PlusNet which I have been pretty happy. It's an up to 8GB connection with a download limit of 15GB/mth between 8am-midnight.

However, there's a SKY deal on moneysavingexpert.com website which is tempting as it would cost about the same each month but include the TV side of things and would come with a free SKY+ box (not HD but that's fine). Briadband is same speed but with a 40GB limit. I can't see any particular terms connected to that other than the usual "Fair use" stuff.

Just wondered if anyone has any opinions on the service?

If you can get sky/easynet LLU then they're good, if not; avoid.

Sky LLU has a good reputation, so you should be OK.

I've been with Sky LLU for about 18 months and it's been faultless.

Moved from IDNet to Sky Mid to increase my speed and save £20 per month
