Only got connected this afternoon.
I loose functionality about every 5 mins, my router shows I am connected to the internet, I have my internet connection showing on my taskbar and this is still present but I am unable to accesseither the internet or the router. I have to power down the router and then wait about 3 mins to get a connection again, only for it to follow the same path a few mins later.
I rang Sky support and it appears that I am loosing my IP address.........a ticket has been raised to look at this.
I asked the question as to why my speed will not go above 8096Kbps and I am told that this is because I am not on ADSL 2+. I surely should be??????
My exchange is enabled so why would I not be put onto ADSL 2+???. If I am constantly synching at the capacity of ADSL (8Mbps) surely I would benefit from ADSL 2+. Am I missing something??
