any chance of sky offering FTTC broadband in enabled areas?

mines not being done (according to the current date on sam knows) till dec1st but thought i'd ask.

it would be nice and the only way i'll get it since i can't see the point in BTs service due to the ridiculous data caps

1st ISP - Demon - Dialup
2nd ISP - Pipex 512K, then 1Mb
3rd ISP - PlusNet 2Mb, kicked off after being placed on the bad boy pipe
4th ISP - Zen 2Mb. no probs at all.
5th ISP - Bulldog 4Mb then 8Mb, now 18Mb
6th ISP - O2. 18-20MB
7th ISP - O2 access. 8meg limited
8th ISP - Sky. too soon to tell

a fUP is a cap. either that or you pay more and more the more you download

300GB? damn. i could do that in 2 days now. and when steam have mad deals on, i have done.

There is no extra charge if 300GB is exceeded, but the connection will be slowed down (all protocols). I don't know how much by.

grr, how do you stop posting your sig on this?

anyhoo. i'd rather take skys truly unlimited broadband as is than take BTs. i mean what'#s the point of 40Mb if i only have that for 29 or so days a month.

anyway, we#re getting off topic. is there a chance sky will be able to offer this service in an LLU capacity? i mean, not have to pay BT for how much we download?

if not, then i guess i'm on 20meg until that changed

i meant like in other forums where it posts your sig the first time but not after. or a tickbox to not post it each time

i dont want to delete the sig completely.
