Enjoying my Sky package.

[link to this post]

Had my Sky TV up & running for a few days now, and I'm loving it.

Got the HD pack with the free set-up and box.iew I just miss the ease, look, and simplicity of the Humax Freeview PVR.
I knew what channels where it is and what to watch on it. And then they took Channel One off. It was One step too far.

Just got the TV pack only with Sky - No broadband, and no line into the box. It's a trek searching through the channels. Oh darn it, there are movies on it too. AND there are a Lot of +1 channels. Great, Film4 +1 - Hah, they stopped that on Freeview.

Good stuff Sky - No hurry for Virgin now.

Oh, and Hi Folks! wink

Spend some time sorting out "favourites", one click and you lose approx 4832 rubbish channels....and it leaves you with the "rubbish channels that I chose to watch" tongue

Oh!........... Hi to you.

Just a tad sad..a wee bit old...wink

Sky box is far better than Humax IMO!

Was Eclipse Home Option 1 & VM 2Mb
Now O2 standard

I've never used a Sky+HD box, but I've been impressed with the Humax Foxsat-HDR.

Heh, I'll definitely get that done soon. I may even get to watch something different to House and the Simpsons. laugh

It beats Freeview. wink

Virgin One leaving Freeview was the last straw for me.

I take it you're aware BSkyB closed Virgin Channel 1?
