sky extension

[link to this post]

Hi as some of you know i will be getting sky phone on the 11/4/11 and sly broadband activated on the 21st or 22nd this isn't directly at broadband but kinda has to do with it. so currently with virgin for phone but as i say switching to sky on the 11th and currently my sky HD box connects to the phone socket with a sky extension with one of those double ends. But when the sky lines fitted and switched over ill be fitting a filtered faceplate for the broadband but the sky extension don't fit on filtered face plates correctly because of double ends size (it coveres half of the ADSL port). So can any one tell me would i be able to hard-wire the sky HD extension into the back of the filtered faceplate instead of it plunging into the front any help appreciated.

Ash.

Sky box is nothing special just another telephone device that needs pins 2 and 5 connected.

Very useful faceplate I reckon.

Have my ADSL run off the rear connection and phones and Sky box ( not connected now) off the front faceplate. Tidy and neat.............. and no filters anywhere to be seen. smile

Just a tad sad..a wee bit old...wink
