How soon can I order?

I've just activated my line for tomorrow. How soon can I call Sky to order broadband on that line? As soon as it's active or 24 hours after? Do I have to wait for some database to be updated?

As soon as Sky allow you really, which is usually once their database lookups work.

Is there a risk that their database has my new number already but where it was used at an old address?

Possibly, but they should corelate your given address with what the database says
