As you can see there is alot of packetloss. That pathping was from last night.

Just wondering how I can go about getting this information to someone at sky who knows what to do with it? I've used the phone service in the past and spend hours talking to level 1 technicians who wouldn't know what to do with this information.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

In the past when I have experienced problems with ping/packet loss level 1 support don't seem to know what to do. If your lucky you can get through to tier2 support.

Another way of getting someone to fix this is making a technical complaint via email: http://www.sky.com/helpcentre/complaints-code/
This can take longer but normally does work, I have had exchange issues successfully fixed this way, even when level 1 support say there is no problem at the exchange.

Thanks for the reply.

I already contacted sky via the website you linked.

The idiot who got my email decided to 'fix' the problem by removing my sync limit of 2mibt (which had been forced as my line was too unstable at 6snr margin at 3mbit) leaving my with a now unstable line, in the nights.

On top of that, I still have the same packetloss. What a joke of an isp.

Did you ever get this fixed?

Have exactly the same problem on unlimited in the evenings, I get the feeling sky have been taking on more customers than the network can cope with at particular hops:

Tracing route to www.bbc.net.uk [212.58.244.71]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms home.gateway [192.168.1.254]
2 28 ms 26 ms 26 ms cr0.eacol.uk.easynet.net [87.87.251.206]
3 160 ms 158 ms 160 ms ip-87-87-164-65.easynet.co.uk [87.87.164.65]
4 181 ms 182 ms 185 ms te0-6-0-7.er11.thlon.ov.easynet.net [89.200.134.223]
5 215 ms 192 ms 191 ms 212.58.238.189
6 196 ms 176 ms 199 ms 212.58.238.129
7 177 ms 170 ms 179 ms 212.58.239.58
8 192 ms 187 ms 250 ms 212.58.251.44
9 180 ms 204 ms 183 ms bbc-vip116.telhc.bbc.co.uk [212.58.244.71]

Notice that it's a hop3 spike again..
