...is it like BT's where it uses customers own broadband as the cloud?

The wording implies otherwise so just clarifying.

I've found coverage to be very hit or miss to be honest, the Android app gives you a map with hotspots local to you can be handy...

My local car dealer has "The Cloud" WiFi and its free and works very well. I gather Sky bought "The Cloud" company but I've not seen any Sky logos yet.

I've used it a couple of times at a local pub. Worked fine. Being a bit of a geek I did a speed test and got about 6Mb

On the Iphone app there is a Sky logo when you open it and log in
