For fault in exchange read they've uncapped your broadband and now seems to be relying on a target noise margin.

With a target around 15 to 16dB then you are waiting well over 2 Meg of sync speed, which puts you back to the O2 level of speeds.

Time to chase again, notice how they've now crippled the upstream. Welcome to a helpdesk that does not understand DSL really - not that any do, but the DLM teaching at Sky is all about the majority not the individual

My neighbor has now had a master socket and filter face plate fitted. Sky tested his line and found nothing wrong. They told him that they would pass the results on to their problem solving team and come back to him within 5 days. On the 4th day they rang him to say it was fixed. He now gets 4.2MB down and 0.62MB up which is more or less what we all get in our street. I guess you could say itís a result but what a palaver. There are thousands if not millions of older house that donít have master sockets!
