Around midnight/1.00am this morning my sky unlimited ADSL gave up. Rebooted router, no change (have a wan ip and default gateway). Phoned sky,who called me back on my mobile and performed a line test, I watched the router drop its connection and re-establish it. Still no 'internet'. The nice script reading lady got be to reboot my router and tell get my wan ip address once it was connected.
She has raised a second line call with the networks team, but that us a 72hour turn around.
A traceroute to say google is fine till hop2 (dr1.hobir.isp.sky.com), but times out pretty much after that (it does get responses from 188.8.131.52 and 184.108.40.206).
Sure it is a sky issue, as I can't imagine all my machines and phone would fail overnight.
Anyone else seeing problems? Typically today is the day I am waiting at home for the plumber to show up....
