[link to this post]

Hello I'm just about too move into my first flat.I'm choosing sky for the phone and broadband anyone know if my broadband will go live the same day as openreach install the phone line? It did say I would get between 5.9 and 11.5 meg, Anyone know if sky is good for gaming online with Xbox live (COD)

Many Thanks

sky try to give you the fastest speeds 24/7 so for gaming thats a plus BUT the connection for gaming needs to have good latency (the time it takes for data to go from you to the host server) between you and the game server so for cod that means between you and whoever is hosting the game at that time, the lower the better, again bar any line faults between you and sky's equipment in the exchange you will be ok just dont try to have too many devices connected at same time smile

happy gaming

Connected devices does not matter, so long as they are not moving large amounts of traffic
