Sky or Talk Talk

[link to this post]

Both have offered me a good deal monthly, but Talk Talk is £50 cheaper phone line connection because i'm moving into a ground floor flat which has had a refurb and it's a brand new account for me. Independance yeh! lol

Anyway, which is the better isp as I can go full LLU 10mb+ possible speeds?, I do download alot ! however do talk talk Traffic manage newsgroups?

If you download a lot then I would go for the plus package and not essentials. I have been using newsgroups on and off and never seen any slow down on them. I don't believe they are throttled.

to me its not even a questions as talktalk far as I know have some limits on your usage. Sky has none and apart from the top end Be product is the only truly unlimited connection in the UK

Sky is actually cheaper than TalkTalk. Sky's line rental costs less than TalkTalk's and they don't force you to take an anytime calls package if you want unlimited broadband.

You get a more representative answer, from a very much larger sample, if you use the
Compare tool on Think Broadband.

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isp/compare.html

Which is best? The answer is easy if you compare - In every category.
And add a wild card to your research, like PlusNet.
