I am trying to help my father-in-law (in his eighties) who has been disconnected by TalkTalk. They say that he asked to cancel or transfer his contract, which is just not true.
Do any helpful TalkTalk employees monitor this forum? Or failing that does anyone have contact information for the CEO's office (other than the postal address on the web)?
This is causing my parents-in-law immense stress and taking up several hours per day and all of their emotional energy.
They have no phone and no access to email and so are trying to deal with TalkTalk using a mobile - they do not have reliable mobile coverage in some parts of their house.
They have had their phone number for 55 years and yet have been told by TalkTalk that the number is now in the pool and could be reallocated.
They spend hours each day writing letters, trying to make phone calls to TalkTalk, and worrying that the problem is not being resolved.
