Selling the free TalkTalk router?

[link to this post]

TalkTalk are going to send me the HG635 Super Router which I don't need (I'm up to my ears in routers). Any reason why I shouldn't just sell it? Will support/engineers complain if I don't use official TalkTalk hardware?

Well they might expect you to provide stats from it if there is a fault, so gives them an excuse to charge you if you have a fault at a later date.

Getting rid of old kit that they send out a replacement for and do not collect is a different matter I feel.

The community support forum staff(who appear to have the full blown powers of tech support e.g. new routers, engineer visits, etc.) just seem to require generic connection stats that I can pull from my HG612 modem(they also have their own remote line tests and stats). Not sure what a BrightSparks engineer might think though?
