IPv4 to IPv6 tunnel bandwidth not recorded

[link to this post]

I use Tunnelbroker and have IPv4 to IPv6 routing and none of the bandwidth was recorded by tbbMeter using SabNZB+ in Firefox downloading usenet binaries.

Too complex for tbbMeter? Or is it not IPv6 compatible?

I've not specifically coded the LAN/WAN layer to work with IPv6, not sure the library we use will work for IPv6. The older Diable TCP/LAN monitoring option may work if you need to measure IPv6 traffic.

Hmm. That's disappointing since I liked being able to monitor internet traffic and ignore any LAN transfers between PC's. Also Network Connections is greyed out on the menu.

Ack! Just reinstalled the latest version because I wanted to see just how much I am using each month less LAN traffic and forgot about this problem. So still no IPv6 traffic being measured. If my ISP ever introduces caps this will be a BIG problem and with IPv6 looming ever closer on the horizon I can see it being an issue.

Once summer is over (too many projects ongoing to develop tbbmeter aggressively) will need to re-code to integrate WinPCap (likely to be the Pro version to avoid issues with people using a version of the Open source version that is not compatible with tbbmeter).

Microlap who provided the current sniffer, have ceased development.

It is likely that I will take the opportunity to do the following:

1. Move monitoring into a Windows Service
2. Thus meaning that even if the Sys Tray icon is not running, data amounts are being monitored.
3. Allow comms over a LAN between instances
