tbbmeter has reset itself!

[link to this post]

After re-installing the tbbMeter software on the 6th June, everything appeared to work fine. However, over the last 2-3 days it causes screen freezes on start-up meaning I have to reboot my computer, and today (15th June) it did the same on start-up, but also appears to have reset itself, meaning all the data of the last 7 days has now been lost! The 'Define Monthly Quota' information is still correct, but the 'Define tbbMeter Alarm' has reset to default info and when try make changes to the info, it won't allow me to save!
Can anyone please advise and is there any way of recovering the lost data?

The alarms are stored as files in the alarm folder, what files are present in that folder?

Data reset implies a problem reading from the hard drive, there should be a series of mon-sun.bin files, and if you stop tbbmeter running, and rename one of these to persist.bin then you can get back the old data.

The screen freezes are something I have never seen
