Line Stats

[link to this post]

Hi

I have had an ongoing problem with BT for some time now relating to slow speeds and my Homehub 2 router resetting itself upon receiving a call.

BT say there is nothing wrong with the line or the router, so what could it be?

Here are my line stats

HH2 reseting as in rebooting? Or reseting as in the ADSL drops and then comes back after a few seconds?

First one should not happen, 2nd suggestions possibly an issue with filtering/wiring in house or elsewhere.

As in you are unable to access the Home Hubs built in web configuration pages?

In which case the hub is faulty. A modem should not drop its LAN side connections due to the ADSL resyncing

Sorry I do not understand what you mean.

When we receive a phone call the HH2 powers down and reboots.

Thanks

it's broken then. Are your phones plugged into the HH2 ?

No standard phones are plugged into the HH2. We only use the hub phones of which we have 5.

never heard of this particular issue the hub powering down on incoming calls.

however i have seen them randomly rebooting for no reason which equals faulty

these comments are my own and in no way represent any company that i may or may not be linked too.
