Optimizing Internet Connection

[link to this post]

Now i know and realise that Windows 7 is meant to optimize the internet connection itself but i have read that there are tools available that can squeeze a little extra like TCP/IP optimizer.

Has anyone ever used such tools and can recommend?

Thanks

Yep but since i reinstalled my PC even tho speed tests are fine, i dont know when downloading files it just seems as if it takes a while to get to say over 10mb where before it didnt.

If i use a download manager like internet downloader i get full speed all the time but it isnt an answer for everything im trying to do.
