Primus Saver Download Limit Increase For New Customers Only

[link to this post]

Primus will not increase the 10GB limit to 20GB for old Primus Saver customers. This is morally and ethically wrong, especially as new customers are paying less for more. I urge all customers on the 10GB limit to complain here: http://www.ombudsman-services.org/communications.html , also express your opinion on this and other forums and blogs such as http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/

Instead of complaining about it, why not just ask for a MAC?

Just watch how fast they put you onto the new tariff if they think you'll leave

Possibly, but it'll be according to their T&Cs and it's the contract you signed up to.

As has been said- if you don't like it, leave.

So, in an 18 month contract you think they should lower the price and increase the limits that you signed up to? If it was the other way around and they were increasing the price and reducing the download limit then you would complain if they tried to enforce it on you when you were in a contract.

It works both ways, contracts bind both parties - you can't just have it your way when it is to your benefit. Maybe next time find someone with shorter contracts?

The banks got slapped for this and so did the utility companies, why do you think ISP's should be any different?

Good stuff. Hopefully they'll stop offering services altogether and another company making people think broadband should be ridiculously cheap can leave the market and it can work towards higher quality, fairly priced, fit for purpose products.

I have a fixed term contract with my bank. It is for my mortgage. If I have a fixed rate mortgage strangely enough I stay on that rate for the full term and do not get to take advantage of other new offers that come up (at least not without a penalty) - but it also doesn't go up if the other products do.

Seems to me that is no different to a fixed contract for broadband...
