Demon - Won't terminate contract

After some months of Demon tech support "empathising" with a sub 0.5Mbps broadband connection but not fixing it I signed on with a new ISP and emailed (not accepted) and telephoned Demon to terminate my contract. 5 weeks later I got another invoice so rang them again and they said they had no record of my request to terminate service.

Where you outside the minimum term of the contract?

Did you use a MAC to mgrate with?

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.0/13.9Mbps @ 600m.

I had been with them for 10 or 12 years and was changing to a transmitted signal ISP so MAC was not necessary - that might have got the message through to them!
