As a former Virgin Media (ADSL) customer I find it highly disturbing that they still have ANY customers, as I fully believe that the whole lot of them should be shot for criminal incompetence and borderline fraudulence.
I managed to escape from the clutches of a 12 month phone + 'broadband' contract after around 5 months by complaining to the ISPA online. I received a call back from Virgin within a week, and the next day my contract was cancelled with no further charges. They even cleared off two months of arrears that I refuse to allow to go out of my account (although I would not recommend you try this).
I would advise anyone on this pitiful excuse for an ISP to do the same, and seek an alternative provider.
It is quite an obnoxious thought to know they are still managing to push this rubbish ADSL service on the back of their (possibly) reasonably good cable broadband, and getting away with it, essentially swindling thousands of customers in the process.
Virgin take your T&C's and stuff them up your ****hole, along with the rest of your cr*p. We don't need you. We don't want you. And when people realise how bad you are you can forget about having customers again for the rest of your pathetic existance.
