Hi.

As the title says really can you have 2 seperate connections at the same house..?

I am looking into running my own game server and want a faster connection then my father has. Can i open up my own account at his address when i move back there.

Phone up customer support. I think you can get a seperate 'computer' connection but on the same account. You can then pay your father for this. A seperate account may mean a seperate telphone line and computer connection, so may be better paying father.....

I have to admit i would prefer something totally seperate if it could be done...

You cannot have 2 accounts at the same address with VM.

Can you have more than one connection though Pippincp?

1 account with 1 TV package + 2 cable broadband connections or something like that?

I have two accounts at the same address, one for phone and one for cable, so it can be done although it's been like this for many years.

Give them a call, I can't see why not. They do it for flats.

I would give them a call as this is seperate 'devices'. I have heard of this being done before

Some say you can some say you can't

You can have 2 accounts like above but not you have triple play in one room and someone else have it somewhere else.

My house had 2 seperate accounts running in it one for me one for my housemate./ I had to sign a wayleave agreement but was then told this was not possible and the install was illegal.(another phoneline)

I know that we can't do that in Retentions. I wish we could.
