100mb so slow

Meant to be on 100mb. Upload seems to struggle to even work on speed test.

My phone is also slow and my partners
In the B21 area.
What router stats do I need to post as I cant complete a speed test. Constantly failing on the upload part.

Been told its high utilisation in my area and Virgin have no idea when it will be fixed but it could be a while.

Yeah lets hope so... VM aren't exactly quick at fixing things or doing upgrades.

Seriously! That is far too slow to be congestion. Did it happen suddenly? It's most likely faulty equipment (amplifier or fibre) or a cable problem causing high attenuation and therefore poor throughput. Should be simply to fix if not faulty cable. If the road needs digging up to replace the cable somewhere then that'd explain the long lead time.

FTTC/Infinity is available in most VM areas, have you checked coverage. If available you could tell VM to get lost.

Now been told it may be level issues not just affecting me but the whole street.

Without being naughty I got told this by two people in British call centres. They have helped me so much and explained so much. I hope this has not put me in a bad light frown

But its been forwarded to the engineers and should appear on the status page soon. So a good resolution for now.

I can get BT infinity and Sky Fibre. Can get 76/20 on BT and 40/10 on Sky. But I am in contract with Virgin.

get out of contract as service not doing what ya paying for (100mb) im jumping to infinity sky as soon as aval atm, ive got a senior engineer coming as im getting loads of t3 timeouts.
