POE from Virgin Super Hub

[link to this post]

Work is looking at giving me a VOIP phone for home office and I was wondering if the super hub will do POE? Or will I need a power adaptor?

You'll need a power adaptor. The superhub doesn't do PoE

You would need a PoE switch, which if you are only connecting one phone would be a pointless waste of money.

If you'd rather not have the power supply local to the phone, you could look at using a PoE injector - that would just require an extra PSU close to the superhub.

e.g. one of the PoE injectorsa from here: http://www.solwise.co.uk/networking-copper-based-poe...
