Asking here first, because Virgin is NOT a company I enjoy calling, and it would probably take 30 mins on the phone to get a clear answer... you know...
If I call them up and say, "please change my IP address" would they do it?
It's not static, but it is always the same and I don't seem to be able to do anything to change it myself..
Basically my home IP address got banned (I think) on a site that I normally use, because I also logged on there with VPN. Didn't know that it wasn't allowed.
They say they can't see anything about my IP being blacklisted, but I can log on to the site with every other device and IP address that I have access to, so it's obvious they are mistaken, and it's been blacklisted along with the VPN address which is also blocked. It's kind of Catch 22 now, because I can't log on to the site and they can't fix it because obviously they don't know fully how they set up the site...
