Virgin Broadband USAGE

Hello, Guys Currently on the 30Meg broadband package does virgin broadband allow this much downloading day to day.

VM sell it as unlimited so yes they do allow any download volume. If you regularly hit the STM they will send a letter explaining how to avoid that (ie by not downloading so much during STM hours).

They used to send disconnection threats if they considered usage was too high but as they want to advertise "unlimited" they can no longer send out those letters and remain within ASA guidlines.

Given they haven't complained to you about it I guess you're safe. VM can't complain about usage and threaten you with any kind of penalties for your usage.

I didn't even realise there was that much content worth downloading available, well played Sir.

lol My steam Games are around 500GB of games and streaming netflix HD Uses around 4gb each hour.

You do know that you don't have to re-install the games every time you want to play them don't you?
And Netflix HD is around 4.5GB for a 2-hour movie, not 4GB/hour.

only used 115.21GB down and 3.32 GB Up.
