V26 FW

Makes a difference to the BQM when connection is idle - still terrible when downloading.

If filling the line then you would expect other data to have worse latency. Hence why some use cpe with qos so they can download and game at same time

Actually now that some time has gone by it does seem to have made a massive improvement.

I thought you said you'd left VM....

In reply to a post by pcoventry76:
Well on VM I could do 10GB in 10ish mins - now it takes me 2 hours but I no longer have the need to download 10GB files. - knowing I could still push 120GB a day is fine with me. I doubt I will need to. that's still the same as I did on VM.

I did 3.5TB in the last month before cut off. I could do 3.6 on this one in Sept if I wanted to..I just don't want to.

I got a silly price to stay a few days later so I decided to take it (and re connect) - I mean cheaper than my Sky line... so Sky went instead. I just don't download much now.

I was thinking of moving on myself and they came up with an offer I couldn't refuse.

I spend most of my time in my holiday caravan on 3G so I don't download much either right now. Mt home PC does run 24x7 though running some stuff and I occasionally phone home if I need something large then pick it up when I next go there.
