Hub 3 Green Flashing Power LED?

[link to this post]

Hi.
So I've just received a VM Self-install broadband only kit for home (already had a Telewest cable socket installed.

I've plugged everything in and checked that all the cabling is pushed in tight. However, the Hub is just flashing green and I don't have any net access. It's been doing that for around 45 mins now.

I've restarted it - the power LED goes solid white for around a minute or so, then switches to flashing green.

The guide that they give doesn't actually say what flashing green means - flashing red shows there's an error but nothing about green.

Is it downloading some sort of update? Or does it mean that VM haven't connected me yet (I called them first and followed their instructions to activate the connection before I plugged in and switched on the hub as they tell you to do).

Any ideas?

I'm trying not to have to actually call them - everytime I've called them in the past I've had to wait 45 mins + to speak to someone...

I am not with VM now but used to be.
Flashing green means that data is being received or being sent.
At least that is what it indicated back then.
By POWER LED do you mean the led that lights when the hub is turned on.?
Or the LED that flashes when sending or receiving data.?
