Interestingly I can now (today) order 300...So I can only assume they have sorted the network? Does that sound about right ?

Yes indeed. Upgrades done, network monitored, content that they are able to deliver the higher speeds without degrading service.

The business side also shows 350mbps now - £30 a month for 350/7 with no phone line on 24 month contract is tempting.

Tempting, but that upload is just plain ridiculous, I'd rather have a bit slower download and a faster upload.

I'm hoping they uprate the upload speeds prior to me being able to order early next year.

Edit. That's £30 + vat.

It is - I spotted that earlier - well I'll be getting the quick start pack tomorrow so let's see what speed I actually get. And if it's 300 or 350. Or less like last time

You are spot on as usual Carl, Let's hope it stays like this.

Do they recycle the old kit customers give back? The reason I had a fault was because the SH sent to me in the self start kit was faulty.

My SSD now seems to be the bottleneck! needs upgrading

Well 4 days in and it's working fine, Some slowdown but nothing to whinge about - but at times I have tried it it's working fine.

I notice I have 24 down and 4 up channels, so they have done major upgrades?
