Fibre and BT hub phones

I used to have a BT hub phone but when I changed to fibre I was told it would not work I however have seen comments various help site saying it can work. I know you can get other voip adaptors to fit the ports on the hub, but its the hub phone I would like info on

My BT ifinity gets installed next week. Noticed a few days ago as stated on an earlier email from them that i can no longer use BTBB Talk. They have cut off the services on our line. They state that on all new orders.
