VoIP extension bell

Suggestions of how to achieve an extension bell to a VoIP telephone would be most welcomed.

I presume that a Cisco SPA 112 would ring an extension bell attached to one of the RJ11 FXS ports. You could have a Gigaset N300IP attached to the same port of the SPA 112

Yes this is a solution which I have considered. Just wondered if there were any other options.

Devices for exactly this exist, such as the Algo 8180.

However, it's far cheaper to buy a SPA112 and traditional sounder.
