[link to this post]

HI

helping a friend get ADSL broadband(living in flat no cable virginmedia)

she needs phone line rental also (don't actually use phone just for the ADSL)
don't really need TV unless its cheap
the faster the line as psossible and unlimited access
also the shorter contract length the better (as she might not need it after 6months)

this is a list samknows site gave saying what are avalable
BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
BT Wholesale SDSL
AOL LLU
O2 / Be LLU
Bulldog LLU
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU
Tiscali LLU

any recommendations??

also she actually had sky in the place but was in flatmates name
and has taken that when she moved out

will there be any high connection charges??

thanks for any help

Smilie,

Vivaciti partial LLU (monthly contract) 100GB FUP and Post Office phone line rental (monthly contract) might be one possibility...

I assume you are talking O2 Home phone + broadband.

P2P is a no-no on O2, but that package is reasonable if not.

See the FUP and throttling applied to the various packages on this page.

Note two things about the costs.

The three-months free is supposed to end tomorrow, but has often been renewed. Also if she has an O2 mobile phone then by ordering through TopCashBack or Quidco she can get up to £90! (Remember to clear cookies before going through to order).

A PAYG mobile earns the £5 discount off broadband, yes.

Sounds even better if you bolt our own phone line into the package smile

No,
We can do full LLU or we can do partial LLU (SMPF) and phone line via WLR

vivaciti,

Nice one smile Guess the phone via Wholesale Line Rental is on a monthly contract also?

Any news regarding your partial LLU deals - anything cheaper than the 100GB FUP package yet?
