Looking for an ISP

[link to this post]

Hi,

I'm moving to a new flat with my partner and we're looking for advice on a good isp to go with. The exchange is Exchange

We both play games online, at the same time so a steady and reosnably fast connection or low ping is important. I also would very much prefer to not have throttling, and a large, if not unlmited, data cap.

Cost is a consideration, though we'd be prepared to a pay slightly more if it fitted all the requirements above.

Thanks in advange for your time and suggestions

In reply to a post by FarlitMorcha:
The exchange is NOT Exchange
No, it's just BT Availability Checker.

Sky LLU. £15 a month for unlimited, less if you have another Sky product. ADSL speeds depend principally on your distance to the exchange.

Poplar exchange had capacity problems. I don't know if that's been fixed.

We called sky, who said that according to their checker we couldn't get most of their packages. I am confused as when i go to somethign liek Samknows it shows us on their LLU, as well as many others, but when we go to the companies they say that they can't do it. Is this because we dont have a phone line attached yet so the checkers (theirs or samknows) are incorrect.

Does anyone have any advice?

Many thanks

As has been said, it's probably because their LLU capacity is full. Huge demand there.
