New BT line on the 19th which BB Provider to go for?

[link to this post]

Have signed up for a 18 month contract with BT so that things should be easier this way when FTTC is available on my exchange (Cumbernauld), So looking for suggestions for mainly surfing, usenet downloading so has to be fairly relaxed on downloading. Thinking about vivaciti products but also looking for alternatives preferably on a monthly contract basis so its easy to move when FTTC is available.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks for the suggestions. However, Be isn't an option on my exchange - tried already.

Will look at xilo though smile

If your eventual aim is FTTC, it might be better to go with a provider who already has that as part of their product range, then it'll be a simple change of product not a migration.

There's a list of ISPs who provide FTTC products here.
