They seem to have had an interesting past in one form or another when you put them into a search engine e.g. link

Maybe they're OK, who really knows unless one is a current customer.

I wouldn't migrate to them but that's just me smile

Edit: what exchange are you connected to?

An IP lookup for the site breatheinternet.com returns that the IP owner is NJP Services Limited.

I did a search on Companies House and a company with that name was dissolced in January of last year IF its the same company.

My advice to you would be to look for a phone number and give them a call before signing up.

Virgin (ADSL) => Namesco => Newnet => O2 => Plusnet => Zen => Newnet => Zen Lite 8000
Note: I don't lay turf for anyone. astro or otherwise, all views and opinions expressed are my own based on experience.

VERY possibly - I'd recommend a look here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2009/07/23/breathe_netw... they appear to have previously gone bust.

I have been a breathe customer since 1997, and subscribe to their unlimited broadband (silver service) and have never had any problems with them. Their mail server SAN did crash a year ago, but they now use a better mail hosting service. Offshore help line is expensive - true, but the uk based office in regent st , london, has been very helpful when I had issues with loss of mail due that mail server crash. I will continue to use them as I have 3 heavy users of the internet at home - and have never received any slow-down in service.
Personally, from my experience, I would recomend them. That said - it's interesting that I have never actually known who owns them !
A satisfied Breathe user.
