BT Business for residential customers?

[link to this post]

Being a residential customer, is it possible to get BT Business broadband?
If so, how? I tried to apply on-line but there are business-related required* fields to fill in.

(Note, someone suggested this is possible. I asked the same question in another post but didn't get a definitive answer.)

Thank you.

FTTC, static IP and unlimited usage, which I believe is only traffic-mananged on P2P?... Are there other FTTC ISP alternatives to consider, offering the same unlimited (or at least 250GB peak), and static IP package.?

Help please...

For static ip bt business is who you want, the only sacraphise is the fact that they are slightly more expensive, but offer completely unlimited downloads, i do 300gb+ a month on 8Mb adsl. which is why we chose bt business apart from the static ip,
and im not sure on the other isp's part,
but you could try ADSL24, as they have different packages with your requested limit's,
hope i helped, and bt business in my expereince dont really throttle p2p either and they are completely unlimited, but think carefully before signing up to a 24 month contract.
Let us know which one you chose.

Thanks for your reply thomaswarne01, really appreciate it. I do realize it's the 24-month contract that might hold me back.

How long have you been with BT Business?
Are you (generally) happy with their (customer) service?
Are there differences between BT and Residential customer service?

Why have you not upgraded to FTTC?
How much do you pay?
I believe Infinity2 unlimited with 1 or 5 static IP costs £45/month.

Do you have 1 or 5 static IPs?
Do you maintain a website? If so, who is your web/email host?

Many thanks.

Is that £45pm including or excluding Vat? A quick look at the BT Business Broadband shows all prices excluding it.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - Plusnet Value Fibre.

£45+vat is fine. Are there any ISPs that can offer the same package?
