Free/Reduced landline activations?

[link to this post]

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I couldn't really see anywhere more suitable.

I've moved house and my telephone line has no dial-tone.

BT want £130 to activate it. Now I remember Postoffice offering Free/reduced activation/installs with no minimum contract term.

My issue is that they seem to be having some serious problems at the moment and their sales team didn't know when they'd be able to place orders again. I'm keen to get this setup ASAP.

So, is there anyone else with a similar offering?

Your sig says Sky LLU, presumably at your previous location.

Which ISP are you considering at the new one? It could make a difference.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Connection - Plusnet Extra Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 56.0/13.9Mbps @ 600m.

I am undecided at the moment, I'm looking for anything half decent with a 30 day contract.

ADSL24's C&W package seems to be the top contender, though.

http://www.primussaver.co.uk/ - £59 installation with a phone only package

Or

http://www.directsavetelecom.co.uk/ - £49 installation with a phone only package

Both have generally good reputations for service. They provide the cheapest line installations I can find.

Edit: sorry totally wrong link for the first one. Fixed that now.

Sky Broadband Unlimited
