Moving Home BT infinity or Sky Fibre

[link to this post]

Moving house on Friday ( Hooray )

Its in an area where i can get SKY Fibre or BT Infinity
The following services are available in your location:

BT Wholesale ADSL
BT Wholesale ADSL Max
BT Wholesale WBC (21CN)
BT FTTC
AOL LLU
Bulldog LLU
TalkTalk (CPW) LLU
Sky Broadband / Easynet LLU
Tiscali LLU
Tiscali TV (via Tiscali LLU)

Tend to be a heavy P2P user and will stream some video
ADSL checker said Max 3 Mb on ADSL 2 so Fibre seems a better option
any opinions on my choice

That can be with or without Plusnet phone rental and calls.

Ah, but you posted 3 days after me, and used the word "best", implying of Infinity, Sky an Plusnet.

Plusnet does not have throttling but as I think you know does have benficial management, preventing a customer's own P2P killing his family's browsing, gaming , VOIP etc.

I wonder if Sky has that? If it does, (unpublished), then no different to PN. If it doesn't anyone with such a mix would find PN better.

Infinity now of course claims to have removed all throttling.

Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 54.3/15.4Mbps @ 600m. - BQM
